The lamp you see serves as a symbol, representing how after individuals depart from this life, our memories of them remain . My initial recollection of Iranian carpets involves the collection enveloping my grandfather's house therefore the embroidery on the lamp is the blue print of that space. Furthermore, the audio component aims to immerse you, placing you in the midst of family members as they share their personal connections with my grandfather through the context of the carpets. This intermittent illumination in my design conveys the sense of safeguarding that we extend to objects that encapsulate cherished memories and emotions.
